Trying to figure out if RockHard gas can mount will clear my passenger tail light on the Currie bumper if I go with the thinner MaxBilt LED lights.
$3.45? You're lucky you don't live in Kommiefornia...filled up yesterday at $4.89. A little over 14 gallons was $70. And that's for 87. 91 is $5.29.Filled up the gas tank before the crazy price increases start (not including the insane price increases caused by Brandon. $1.85 to $3.45 here in a year). Fill up was only $52 with my 20 cent Kroger discount. I can't wait until 2024 when sanity will Trump insanity once again.
p.s. I drive over 100 miles daily for my job.
p.p.s. Ordered my new shift knob on Ebay. I think it's Alec Baldwin from SNL before he killed someone.

I'm looking forward to secure US borders, the return of Freedom of speech, cheaper gas prices and mean Tweets in 2024! I hope I live that long.$3.45? You're lucky you don't live in Kommiefornia...filled up yesterday at $4.89. A little over 14 gallons was $70.
Great looking Jeep. If you decide you want a little more freshened up, the BedRug kits are amazing.Amazing what’s under the carpet…just a little cleanup of 22 years of someone else’s dirt. A dirty Jeep is ok if it’s your dirt…

So instead of buying a carpet kit for a couple hundred bucks, I bought a carpet cleaner. Out came the seats and center console to reveal the filth that lies beneath. My husband said he’d give me two bits if I would eat the French fry under the e brake boot. I said hard pass though tempting.

Also it is oddly satisfying to see the filth getting sucked up in a carpet cleaner
Once the Carpet finishes drying in the sun we can reassemble. So disgusting, and so beautiful when clean.

So while the carpet isn’t perfect it is at least cleaner than it was, in decent condition, and the gunk underneath is gone.

I made $0.43 when I took my new to me LJR apart. And X2 on the Bedrug.Amazing what’s under the carpet…just a little cleanup of 22 years of someone else’s dirt. A dirty Jeep is ok if it’s your dirt…

I believe I pocketed somewhere in the neighborhood of $0.83 so that helps make the cost of the carpet cleaner more reasonable…I made $0.43 when I took my new to me LJR apart. And X2 on the Bedrug.
I’ve seen the bed rug installed and they are nice for sure. Perhaps after the rest of the maintenance is caught up and the lift complete as well as bigger tires … well it’s added to the list.Great looking Jeep. If you decide you want a little more freshened up, the BedRug kits are amazing.
That’s what I was thinking, central California hit $5+ I remember thinking $2.79 was ridiculous. Is there a conversion kit for my TJ so I can sit in a parking for an hour to charge it up like all the teslas?$3.45? You're lucky you don't live in Kommiefornia...filled up yesterday at $4.89. Will my 20 ton press achieve what a pickup and tractor couldn’t? Let’s find out!So...fixed this...really was just overtightened...these are control arms...not front torsion bars...

My rear e-locker arrived...bolted on the ring and carrier bearings...but forgot to reinstall the e-locker portion so I am waiting for my pinion puller on Wed hoping that will let me get it off...it's that or a torch
Shocks arrived from Black Max... excellent shipping time...part numbers were all right on the boxes...but the two rears were wrong and had different part numbers stamped on the shocks. Hecho en Mexico, not estados unidos just in case you're wondering.
Then I strapped my rear driveshaft to my truck and the other end to my tractor...it's frozen together...was a PIA to pull out of the Jeep. That didn't work. Went to the neighbors and used his porta power...bzzt...then I did this and you're just gonna have to wait for the YouTube video...

I’ll toss in a plug for bedtred as well. I bought both and went this route after testing the look of both.Great looking Jeep. If you decide you want a little more freshened up, the BedRug kits are amazing.
Sure, you can convert your TJ. But you could buy a lot of gas for the cost of that conversion...even at $5/gallon.That’s what I was thinking, central California hit $5+ I remember thinking $2.79 was ridiculous. I get more dirt in a week. Slim is related to me too.Amazing what’s under the carpet…just a little cleanup of 22 years of someone else’s dirt. A dirty Jeep is ok if it’s your dirt…

I did it last fall and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I’d recommend a butyl rubber heat/noise shield such as “hot heads” or something similar to lay down underneath. The combo significantly reduced transmission tunnel temps as well as sound.I’ve seen the bed rug installed and they are nice for sure. Perhaps after the rest of the maintenance is caught up and the lift complete as well as bigger tires … well it’s added to the list.
