What did you do to your TJ today?

Behind here, Last Thursday did part of the fluid maintenance.on my 20 year old 98 4.0 5 speed TJ Most likely some of it was original. 63K mile oil change, trans fluid, transfer case, and both differentials 30/35's. I just pumped the old fluid down as far as I could and refilled the differentials, old fluid looked pretty clean. Thanks to all here with suggestions for changing fluids, made it easy selecting what to use and how to do it.

Today, had the seats out to be recovered, gray patterned original insert design was not to be found, so going all original solid gray, pulled all the carpets and washed at least 5lb of mud out of it and vacuumed and wiped all the metal under it. Nice looking painted interior, Ha Ha. Hope the carpet finishes drying in the sun tomorrow for installation.

Found a small leak in the radiator between the top filler tank part and the fins, so that will be next on the list soon.

The weather is still nice here. Still have the top off. 79 degrees today. Washed the Jeep today and my wife and I are going for a ride tomorrow.

Finally got my front Eaton E-locker wired up into the aftermarket stock looking switches in the dash. I know it is hard to see the but the buttons on the right say Diff Lockers, Rear diff Lock, and Front diff lock. So to activate the front or the rear I have to hit the Diff lock button then I can hit the front or the rear independently. Then if that doesn't work, I have PLAN B below it. (The Winch).

By the way that is the temp outside today at my house. That is with the top and doors off today.

Today my new Bestop trektop shipped in, plan on installing on my next day off Thursday after school. It was this or was gonna be a rear Dana 44 deal someone was offering me. I decided to go with this and take care of by far the biggest issue with my Jeep right now:

Spent 2 Days welding drivers seat mount for Pioneer 4 Ch amp, re-wiring soundbar and front speakers with thicker gauge speaker wire and cleaning out sand that magically appeared EVERYWHERE I lifted the carpet up lol

Sound is definitely improved but the Pioneer 2 way 6x9’s dont have as great a sound as expected - any feedback on boosting bass without the rattly sound? Was thinking mdf speaker boxes in the back on the wheel tubs...

I cleaned up some old wiring as I’m installing the RC MLC6 switch pod set up. So far I’m really happy with it. Seems like a very high quality set up for less than half what an SPOD runs

Its an OR-Fab Sport Cage. 1997-04 Jeep Wrangler - Kit 82200. Don't remember what I paid for it.
I also bought 2 Streamer Bars from OR-Fab to run down the center front to rear 1997-2006 TJ- Kit # 87002
Here is a link to a wright up on it.

Doesn't look as cool as yours, but still pretty cool, but I don't think you could fold your windshield down with this one,
