Not bad at all. You should be able to clean those spots off and paint them up in no time. The PITA is that you have to wait for the paint to dry before you can swing the windshield back into place.
Since mine is a 2006, when I repaired it recently, I sprayed it full of enough Eastwood Internal Frame Coating that, I think, the metal could be completely removed and the coating alone would hold it together. Hoping that will keep the rust monster away. If you do that, be aware that there are lots of places it will runout and you will definitely want to remove the windshield from the vehicle before attempting it...that stuff makes a mess!
Funny....in another thread a member is asking about sliders for their LJ. I like mine but dont know where they came from. From this picture yours look just like mine. Where did you get them? Clean tub BTW!
They were on it when I got it. I like them, they are bolted to frame directly - drilled holes in frame (4 small ones at each end) to attach. I was told they were MOPAR, but not sure. I've seen others like these that bolt to the body mounts. Huge heavy wall rectangular tubing that attaches to frame. Yeah I originally thought that too, but it felt like I was sitting down in a hole compared to how my JL is set up. Now the seating position feels identical in the two. Better visibility over the hood.I'm too tall in the upper body. I could use seat lowers in most vehicles.

On the factory amp so definitely not as much juice as it could have, but still an upgrade over the old blown out woofer.
Took seats out and put in Rough Country seat risers - did this on two other TJ's and what a difference! I still can't get over how clean this thing is. Also put 3/4" spacers on front suspension to get rid of the rake. No pics. Still a very slight rake but gas tank was empty and soft top is on now.

Too shiny!Picked her up and took the first drive. Man does it feel amazing to get back behind the wheel of an LJ. Tires and wheels look amazing, as does the new soft top and seat covers. Also all the organs donated from my last LJ lol Loooovin’ the new ride
However, my Black LJ may be totaled and gone but certainly not forgotten. Fortunately I have many memories and pics. On to something better though. Khaki is the new Black.
