What do I need to install rear defrost switch on my 1999 TJ?

Found my wiper wiring schematic, it should be clear enough to follow Note the C326 is the connector at the harness. The pin # callouts refer to the pin on the switch

I was able to successfully add my own wiring for rear defrost and rear wiper. I created a how to thread for the defrost, looks like I didn’t get to uploading the wiper portion. The wiper is simple, pretty much have a 12V hot always to it, this is for the park position I believe. Then there’s a wire for the wiper motor, and the second momentary position is for the motor + wiper fluid, here it is below:

It depends on a few things. If your harness has the plugs for your switches in the center dash bezel, you’d probably be better off trying to source a complete rear section of the harness. It’s not a hard swap.

If you don’t have the harness for the switches, you’ll have be more creative. That’s what I had to do, wired in my own fuse relay box and mocked the circuit.

Thanks again! That is some solid info! Mine is a 99 TJ so some of the wiring is there in the dash, and at the PDB under the hood. I also have an after market connector for the hard top if needed too. I'll let you know how I make out. I'll try to remember to take some picks too.
