What do you drive besides your Jeep?

2003 Taco, just turned 100,000 miles. Oh, and it’s a step side.

And occasionally, this 2007 Airstream Interstate which is for sale if anyone is interested. Based on a MB Sprinter with 5 cylinder diesel which routinely delivers 22 mpg.View attachment 143176View attachment 143177View attachment 143178

Something I've always wondered about those things: Can you safely travel around with more than 2 people? We've been going around the whole 'camper vs RV' thing for a couple of years, but it seems like that setup wouldn't be a good idea for a family to travel in because there are only two seatbelted positions.

There is actually belted seating for six but it only sleeps two. The two sofas fold out to form a very comfortable queen sized bed. It is fully self contained.

I recently picked up a 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD Double Cab.

These things are cheap enough that I could justify it, and I've long been telling my wife how owning a truck would be so convenient. Of course I'm not going to spend copious amounts of money on a new truck, and knowing how these things last forever, it was a win-win.

The other great thing is that the back seat is plenty big to fit all the kids (including their car seats in).

Sure, I can only tow 6,000 lbs. with it, but I don't foresee myself ever needing to tow more than that.

To me this was a practical purchase that will compliment my future TJ (waiting until we move to Arizona to buy one) very nicely.

so you passed on that red TJ from CA?

I did. The logistics just weren't working and the seller didn't want to work with me to do it my way.

Not the end of the world. I figured it's actually easier to find a clean TJ Rubicon once I get down to Arizona. Then I don't have to worry about shipping it up here to Oregon, only to ship it back down to Arizona, haha.

My company car. 2010 Fusion with 155K on the clock.

Like it a hell of a lot more than the F150 I had before it.
