Driving Topless is my disconnection time. When combined with little loud music make me Smile even more. I removed top and doors since I bought my first TJ and never re install again to the day I sold it. Get a mesh top so my daughter not get sunburn, but still you can fell the sense of openness and be close to the nature. Have an LJ now with the Sun rider option, nice feature but not close to be topless so I remove the top every time I can. Doors are going out for sure soon I got my Spider shade.

There's just something about driving around in an open Jeep with the sun feeling warm on your face to make you love life. Therapy for sure.

I'll never forget the morning I was driving slowly in a shopping center parking lot with my TJ's top off and my stereo was blaring a Beach Boys tune. I was waiting to make a turn when I noticed a guy in a Honda minivan with his wife & kids stopped to turn in front of me staring at my Jeep, his look was obviously one of envy. I got the distinct impression he was being forced by his wife to drive that minivan and he was picturing him and his family being in an open Jeep instead lol.

I agree with this. I used to enjoy driving my Jeep to play summer hockey. I always made sure my top was down and my stick was hanging out!

He probably traded in his Jeep to get the mini van.

I did it, but it was with my Z28. The kids got too big to be crammed into the back.
