Trunk Monkey? Maybe?
Have you pressed it yet? I mean.. why not just press it?
I don't think anyone can tell you what it does since it's not a factory switch.
Could be aftermarket lockers, lights, etc.
It's something the previous owner installed. I'd trace the wires. Should be easy.
What does this switch do? That question takes on one connotation if applied to your Jeep. As a pilot, that question is one that you don’t want to hear in the cockpit, especially while someone is about to actuate it.![]()
I can tell him what it does…interrupts a circuit
My wife asked me if I was going to buy her flowers for Valentine’s Day ..
I didn’t even know she sold flowers..
Keep it up. You and @TheBoogieman will be roomies.![]()
All y'all who encouraged him to press that button have blood on your hands. Diesel Dan hasn't been back to this thread since his first post. He obviously pressed it, and it obviously was the self-destruct button. RIP, @Diesel Dan. We'll miss you.![]()

Ya’ll seen the old bass boat ad where the glam girl is yapping non stop and he has an eject button?
Its gold.
Thanks, Joan. I think Chris thinks it would be dangerous if I was able to load videos..
Actually, there’s some technical deal. There’s also a pretty good old one on Johnson outboard that you just won’t believe.
All about having a good time with your Johnson
