Hey guys,

Noticed a fairly large puddle and consistent drop of water coming from the frame area on my TJ today. I started snooping around for what it could be.

I thought it may have just beens some rain from the night before that was draining out but I had been driving for over an hour so I ruled that out.

When I popped the hood I noticed what I thought was an excessive amount of condensation on a part that I honestly don't even know what it is. Maybe the AC compressor?

It was hard for me to determine if this was the cause of the leak...Is this normal for this part to create that much condensation that it leaves such a large puddle? Could it be another cause? It was clear liquid...

Thanks.

If it’s dripping from the part shown in picture number three, that would be the a/c accumulator. Totally normal especially if it’s humid out.

Looks like the receiver/dryer in the last pic there, and yes when I was in FL the humid climate produced quite a bit of condensation on the cold AC lines as well as the drain from the evaporator inside the vehicle.

On another note, and be honest, did you create this thread just to show off the near museum quality of that undercarriage? It's annoyingly free of rust and even typical road grime, do you keep this thing in a hermetically sealed bag or what?

Hahaha I literally just finished a major paint job on the undercarriage last weekend and today was the first day I drove it again.

It did turn out pretty freaking good though.
