What pipe to use for shop air?

As a reference, this is how mine is set up. Keep in mind this was here already, I did slight tweaking only.

This is the ceiling, there is a fitting up here and I'm going to be mounting a 2nd hose reel up here.

This is my wife's office behind the garage, capped off. I don't know what 's on the end of the line that goes through the ceiling.

To my compressor.

Then to my reel.

Timely thread for me, appreciate the inputs. Leaning towards Rapidair over my walls. I put copper in my last shop but this time I have a lot more linear feet to run it was a was a major PIA to install.
