What the heck is this?

I couldn’t find anything that indicated what this might be.
Switched up, red light on.
Switched down, red light off.
Bought the Jeep (Birdie) last spring.
Anybody have the slightest clue what this is?

It isn't a factory switch that's for sure

Factory switches in that location would be fog lights, hardtop rear wiper, hardtop rear defogger. Do you have any of those?

Everytime you flip the switch, a flight at a major airport gets delayed with no explanation.

Ah! Must be rear defogger. The harness in back has been disconnected since I bought it.
