Not sure what it is or where it’s supposed to go, looks like it comes out of the front differential and was zip tied here for some reason.

Either it is a dikfer, or it is a vent for the front differential that normally mounts on the radiator support.
Like Mall'er said, front diff vent hose. That's a fine spot for it. But it's missing its dust cap.
It's the breather hose coming off your front axle. It's normally clipped to the radiator support. It's up high to help not get water into your axle housing when fording water. If you look at your rear axle you'll find a hose connected that is routed up near the fuel filler hose.
Someone is going to ask. It won't be me, but you know it's going to happen...
