What wire is this?

wire harness broke on both sides and this wire appears to be on the engine... doesnt seem like its a good idea. but dont know what it could be

Holy shit! That is the cleanest engine bay I have seen on a TJ! Sorry, I am unsure on the wire. But damn is that clean!

Could be an 02 sensor.

I assume you haven't started it since the wire broke. You would think a code would pop up fairly quickly.

I think that may go to your temp sensor.
