What's Missing Here?

Look at this gap between the bottom of the soft top rear panel and the top of the tailgate. Surely there's not supposed to be a gap like that. Water runs right into the inside of the back end. What's missing or wrong? (Just bought this TJ yesterday and it's my first.)

Your Jeep is missing some stuff. Yes missing the bar that the rear attaches to.

It looks like the whole back is pulling forward too much also. Those back corners should be pretty much straight up and down.

Yes, I wondered about that as well. I'll learn more about what's going on when I install the tailgate bar (which I just ordered).

Thanks! Yup, it was just the cross bar that was missing. I ordered one and then everything went together correctly and made sense.
