I have a 2006 tj se. no ac 2.4 engine. Anybody know what this plug is to or for? Thank you.

edit: the part number for the 2.4 (82207243 discontinued) does show a plug cover

Yours..., but that doesnt mean that mopar didnt have Katz make them. They probably had them produce them for cold climates...

Possibly a dealer option, maybe added on later. Judging from the split loom on it, I'd say dealer option.
