Wheeler’s project that he didn’t want…

So rather than reduce weight at the rear I decided to add 100 pounds to it. I’ll eventually add one of the receiver hitch carriers for carrying things on top of the box.

The plywood is a short term solution to cut down on rattling, even though the box is bolted down. Once I get around to redoing the interior I’ll have a layer of sound insulation, thermal insulation, and Bed Rug.

Newish seats. Time to clean them up and see how many alternative methods of installation have been used to attach the old seats. :)

Got the driver’s seat replaced. Most of the nuts were missing on both seats and had been replaced with bolts and washers. Unfortunately the muffler is directly under one of the nut and bolt assemblies and I can’t quite access it. I’ll have to try another day.

I did manage to swap out the driver’s seat.

Passenger seat went in with just about as many problems as the driver’s seat. I’ll have to come back around to these again when I install insulation and carpet in the tub.
