If this is already being discussed I apologize.

I'm needing to replace the door seals (full doors), and tailgate seal on my LJ. Dealer says these are discontinued and I'm not having much luck finding OEM Mopar seals. Looking at reviews for aftermarket seals they seem to have a lot of fitment issues. Can anyone recommend something they've had success with?

Thank you!

I ordered crown automotive ones for a half door project and had zero issues. Had to drill new holes because they changed the style on them over the years.

Late last year I purchased spares for the OEM Mopar passenger door and cargo hatch seals, but locating the OEM Mopar drivers side door seal required quite a bit of searching.
ALL of the online Mopar dealerships and warehouse retailers who indicated they had one DID NOT !!!!
I called a local dealership and they did not have the seal, but the parts counter offered to do a dealership search to locate the seal. One was located 150 miles south of where I live. I asked the parts counter to put their hands on the package and verify the seal was inside. Purchased the seal immediately...

Even though indications are the seals do not appear to be available; be persistent and you can find them....

I've never heard of APDTY so I went their site to check them out. They say they "have warehouses of quality OEM and aftermarket car parts at discount prices."

They do seem to have thousands of parts including those door seals but no matter what part I looked at, the only details available are that they exist. Nothing about brand, who makes them and where. Heck, who knows if they sell the same "quality" part twice in a row.

I'm not saying nobody should trust them but I'd like a better reason to trust them myself.

had to search long and hard to find oem mopar full door seals. there out there but, just like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

you guys are the best. so knowledgeable. I don't know how you can find all these parts places. every time I try to search I really never get the quality fines this forum comes up with. I have ordered many things based on recommendation from this forum. thanks for all the help.

If the fact that I've used several that fit well and others have reported the same isn't good enough for you, then I suggest you find a great fucking source and turn us onto them.
