You are probably good with the larger hardware. Did you have to drill anything to get it to fit? I think the 1/2” and 3/8” are too small.
Haven't installed yet , the bolt sizes were recommended from a few reputable folks on this forum. I ended up going through bolt depot.
With the standard grade 8 bolts it is recommended to use fine thread bolts.
As far as drilling I dont think I will have to drill anything, I am also going to be using the Johnny joint washers. I am replacing the control arms with oem style arms as soon as I get some time off from work.

@Dare Devil Diablo these are the bolt sizes recommended
Uppers: Metric 10x1.5 10.9 or 12.9 strength, 78.2mm long.
Or 7/16" fine thread Grade 5 or Grade 8. 3" long.
Lowers Metric 14x2 101mm long (or close I converted that from 3"). 10.9 or 12.9 strength.
Or 9/16 fine thread Grade 5 or Grade 8. 4" long.
Use Nylock nuts and add a drop of blue Loctite to the threads.

Yeah, the bolts are listed at the top of the first page. Well, the metric sizes anyway.
I was using anti seize as well. This probably helped cause the strip-age. I’m planning on continuing to use it but I will reduce my torque settings by ~30%.
I’m using stover nuts. (Mechanical locking nuts, like the original bolts)
I will periodically check my torques to make sure everything is holding up.

I know this is old but maybe by now someone makes a kit?
I'm replacing my front upper and lower CA's with adjustable ones. Is there a hardware kit available anywhere or is it a "source them on your own" type thing? I have reservations about reusing the cam bolts with the adjustable CA's and I also don't know what is going to get cut/butchered coming out so I'd like to have fresh new hardware on hand before I start.

Probably cheaper just to go to Lowe's and get my own hardware, less whatever I decide to do for cam bolt eliminators. However, during this process I learned that my TJ shouldn't have even come with cam bolts from the factory so I need to crawl under there and see what's what. Sorry for the long rant. About my 15th Jeep but the first one I've really torn into. Still learning.

Welp I got some Blaine washers. I'll report back on how they fit & work. I have high expectations, haha.

Nope, did not come with hardware. Based on what I saw, only the very high dollar control arms sets did.

Just want to add that I found https://jeepbolts.com and they have ready made kits for control arms and everything else it appears.
I got a kit for front uppers and lowers for $62, including the cam bolts. Wasn't cheap, but not crazy like the guy that got quoted $40/bolt from the dealer. After searching the other places for the individual bolts , I'll pay the markup for a no hassle kit.
Talked to them on the phone and they were really nice too.
