Where in the Tj suspension swing would the driveshaft be the longest?

I know this might sound like a stupid question but wherein the suspension cycle is the rear driveshaft the longest?

I figured it was at max droop but I just did that and it got shorter. It makes sense after a beer because while the axle is moving down it is also going forward. I'm guessing it would be closer to max on the bump stops? I know each step up is going to be a bit different.

Why do I care? I did a belly up on my LJ Rubicon (already have a tom woods driveshaft) and measuring to see if I should add to the driveshaft or if I am good. Tom Woods says I'm right at the max.

Remove the coils, cycle the axle and find out. Be sure to report back.

Straight out. As the control arm pivots it is moving rearward in its arc.

Both are longest at full stuff, shortest at full droop.
