Anyone know where I can find a Mopar water pump? Also, what is the p/n for a 98 4.0 ? If I cant find it what is an acceptable replacement? Ive scanned the threads and Gates & Duralast seem like no go's. What about AC Delco?

You do realize that most of the parts mopar sells for our tj's now is just reboxed aftermarket stuff.
I would go with a brand name pump with a good warranty. Gates water pump comes with a lifetime warranty.

I recently replaced a 4.0 waterpump on an employees TJ. I told her to get it from the local jeep dealership. I had her return it an picked up a Gates water pump.
I have always been an advocate of o.e. parts, especially when it comes to sensors and electronics, but once the contracts run out with the original vendors, and I am sure they ended a while ago. They will get the stuff from the lowest bidder.
The mopar crank sensor I put in my jeep a few months ago is nothing more than a part supplied by STD ignition products.
