They are not and not supposed to be and those are likely just silver zinc plated.

I ordered these that said they were, but I noticed they still stuck to a magnet.

Mine are zinc coated something.

The lower the grade of the stainless, the more a magnet will attract to it. Maybe it’s cheap stain-nesium-less steel?

OEM and all aftermarket I have ever touched, seen, or encountered are not stainless. They are either gold or silver zinc plated with maybe some cadmium plating tossed in the mix. If someone made some out of stainless in any grade, they would also work just fine, I just don't see them being cost effective.

That isn't a good way to tell. But, the more rust resistant grades also are far less magnetic.
