I checked out my Jeep's build sheet recently, and it came with front bumper hooks installed. Somebody took them off. Any ideas why? Doesn't really bother me just wondering.

I'd be more bothered by them using bolts with the wrong thread pitch to hold the bumper on. All 6 bolts that go into the bumper, 2 on top on each side and 1 on the bottom on each side are 1/2-13 diameter and pitch. There are no metric equivalents.

maybe they didn't have any loctite or lock washers !
That's a bit rough since 12mm is pretty small to try and get to lock in and 14mm won't even start in the hole.

Obviously, you need to use an M13...grind them to a point and use a big impact ! might even need a cheater pipe on a breaker bar !
Previous owner ran a better aftermarket bumper and took it off and installed the stocker before selling?
