Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

OK,
People been asking what the pig weighs...
This is with me in it and I'm about 190lbs...

Dang it!!

Slowly I'll get it all figured out... This one right now has me baffled.

Transmisson was running too warm... Then went from 230* to 260* in minutes and when I'd stopped it was 280*. I was stopping for lunch so was pulling under some trees and went to shift into Park but the shifter had resistance to it but it just stayed in drive. So the cable is broken somewhere... Had to actually disconnect the cable from the shifter lever on the side of the transmission to get it to shift.
So manually shifted it to get it off the trail. We were on Kanner almost to the T where it ties into the Shoestring at this point.

I've got a new cable ordered and it'll be here NLT Thursday which Summit is pretty good about delivery times.

Tomorrow I've got to unload the motorhome and clean it. Get all my clothes and food out and wash my bedding. Monday I'll start working on the Jeep and get the cable pulled so I can find out where it broke and hopefully determine why.
Then I'll tackle the transmission. First thing is I'll pull all the lines and check to see if any of them are clogged which might be why the aux cooler with the fan never came on plus the lines were cool to the touch. Then if that isn't it I'm going to try bypassing the radiator cooler for now and just running fluid through the rear aux cooler with the fan. If that doesn't cure the overheating issue then I'll have to look at dropping the transmission and going through it.

Looks like you might need to shift some things around a little in the rear

With both batteries on the right side I'm not sure what of much weight I can shift. Other than redo the layout of the Tuff drawer and put the wrenches and stuff on the drivers side.

I honestly don't feel too bad about it weighing 4960..... When I consider what I've got. Sure I could be 200 lbs lighter if I'd done aluminum armor... But I'm not sure YET how much that would matter...

And that is with 21+ gallons of fuel in it. I did play with the air in the bags a little and got the weight to shift a little to the drivers side.

EDIT: And with talking to a few others who had their rigs weighed they said they felt that the scales were off, running a little heavier than actual... So I'll have to go CAT scale it at some point.

We should set up a gamboling group that would wager on weather "Wildman" will or will not have something brake or not. I personally have not had so many problems with my builds. Maybe I just keep my fingers crossed.

How many of your builds have you done yourself?

While I'll admit I've had some shitty luck I wasn't expecting to not have some sort of issue...

Granted I wasn't expecting to break the shifter cable....

Edit: It was only shakedown run #2 BTW after all this work... So to not expect an issue.... I guess some might but I've always had things I needed to address.

I am certainly not criticizing you or bragging about myself.

Then what are you doing? If you're trying to make a funny it's falling flat on it's face. And I didn't brake anything BTW... My brakes worked fine... Now I guess you can gamble all you want but at some point you'll lose.

And of these half a dozen frame off builds how many were completely CUSTOM? From what I remember you PAID a shop to do your blessed Lame Shit swap. Bolting on parts isn't the same as what I've done.
