What area would you consider moving to?

My ultimate goal is to fulltime in my RV... It's why I'd bought such a large motorhome. Once I get all the major issues worked out with the Jeep I'll start getting rid of JUNK and start looking at selling my place.
Then I'd like to find a 1/2 acre or so of land with a shop on it that has a septic tank & a RV washout. Then I'd have a spot to come to if I needed a place do some major work on stuff. As for where? It's got to be a RED state.

Screw red states, what you want is a state with 0% income tax on your Veteran retirement.

Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Alaska, come to mind the fact they are all Red states just helps out that much more.

Alaska has the bonus of paying you to "live" (establish residence) there...

Combat wounded means I don't pay taxes on my pay... Were ever I'd move would be someplace warmer... I'm DONE with dealing with snow. But it does have to be a RED state no matter what.

I did when I was stationed up there.

Not that this hadn't come to mind in the first place, but here's what the internet says to test out if the sensor is bad.

Here’s how the swap test is done:

  • Clear the DTC codes with your scanner.
  • Swap the Bank 2 Sensor 1 O2 sensor with the Bank 1 Sensor 1. It’ll be on or right after the exhaust manifold.
  • Run your Ram’s engine until the check engine light comes back on.
  • If the code changes to P0032 (The Bank 1 version of this code), that’s proof enough you need to replace the oxygen sensor you swapped.
  • If the code remains P0052, you’ll need to continue pursuing your diagnosis, knowing that both O2 sensors are working fine.

WELL DAMN.....

It was super easy to figure out why my Bank2/1 O2 sensor wasn't reading properly..... I'd FUCKED UP and hadn't gotten the wiring out of the way of the exhaust... Melted the plug... Ruined the O2 sensor & the harnesses side plug too... Not happy with myself since I'd thought I'd gotten them pulled up out of the way but it's clear I hadn't. Parts are ordered but one of the new O2 sensors won't be here until Monay.... Replacement plug will be here Friday so I can have the harness repaired and ready once it arrives.

Other issue I found is that the passenger side air spring is rubbing on the swaybar bracket. I'm going to have to remove the air spring & shock and then cut & reweld the swaybar bracket. Then install one of the spare air springs that I have.

Blew out the cooler hoses and didn't find any restrictions to explain why the transmission isn't cooling. So once I have things back together I'll have to try a flow test of the transmission I guess unless when I drop the pan I find something blaringly wrong.... Hoping it's something simple like the cooler filer had cracked or something. Will know here in a little bit when I drop the transmission pan.

Is that a vertical video!! Is the spot it melted through outside the heat wrap?

Nope I had the phone sideways..

Yes the area it melted was outside the heat shield up top since I hadn't thought I'd need it there. Down lower were it's melted with stuff stuck to the cable was where I'd had the heat shield.

Cable is 4' long and the new heat shielding wrap I ordered is 3' long which should cover all of it that is under the tub.

Can you get a liquid cooled wrap if that doesn't work?

I think if I can get the transmission cooling like it's supposed to I won't have issues.
And I've got enough other stuff going on I'd hate to try to add something like that. Plus where are you going to get the cooler water from? Engine is running around 200⁰.

Idk that thing wouldn't melt at 200-210 would it?
