Wrong Shocks?

Without knowing your shock length at ride height it’ll be hard to be precise. If I did the math right you’d have a pretty good split
They’d give you roughly 4.25”-4.5” of up travel and 5” - 5.25” of down travel. Both are better than stock so it’d be an improvement.
Again if you told us the length of the shock at ride height, from mount to mount that would be better.

That's going to be too tall for a 1.5" lift, they would bottom out. I'd go for the RS55240 and RS55128 which are for a 0-2" height.
BUT 1.5" of suspension lift is not enough for 33" tires. Do you know if there is also a body lift installed, which would be additional spacers placed between the frame and body? For 33" tires the usual recommendation is 4" of additional clearance for the tires which is commonly created with a 3" suspension lift and a 1" to 1.25" body lift.
Measure your front and rear spring heights with the Jeep sitting on the ground. Stock front springs are 12" tall and rear are 8" tall. Any more than that is suspension lift height. For example a 1.5" suspension lift would make the fronts 13.5" tall and the rears 9.5" tall.
Ok a 1.5" suspension lift (the spacer) is definitely fine for 31" tires. The Rancho RS5000x shocks linked to in my post above would be the correct ones for your setup and they would work and ride well.
So I got the correct shocks in and installed the first front shock and went to install the second and realized the parts bag was missing the bolt to secure the top of the shock. I tried using the both that came off the old shock but it didn't seem like it wanted go on and I didn't want to force it and strip it out. Anyone know what size bolt it is?
