North Carolina List of Carolinian off-roaders

Sweet, doing mine right now. I had a question but I’ve googled since then. I got the harmonic balancer off, but I need some snap ring pliers, but have only lock ring.
Any tips to installing that helped you out?

Make sure that everything is there when you put the half case back on, I accidentally left the oil pump out to I had to spend 30 min trying to get it on through the small hole, then after that I realized I forgot to put the spring back, so I had to remove the case half again just to slide the spring into place, I wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't using RTV

Yikes, that didn’t Sound fun. How long did it take for your shaft to come in, assuming it was a TW..?

Such a fun job. Are you leaving the case in? I was going to attempt that but decided to drop it.

Organized chaos lol

I left it in. It wasnt too bad just a lot of sliding out from under the jeep. Lol ya, I double checked around me when I was putting it back together to ensure no parts were left behind.

I had some old rtv that froze up at the nozzle, so decided to clip an end. What a mistake, I still have black in the creases of my hands. Lol

Uwharrie opens April 1st, I'm tryin to plan a group trip down there early April, preferably not on opening weekend tho just due to the amount of people.

Any thoughts?

I'm going to a race the second weekend in April. I fixed my front end so nothing is stopping me now. Maybe I'll have my MML and BL by then. Both are on back order. I still have stock axles and running gear though so we will see what she can do. I'm still putting the pieces together for gears and lockers.

I wouldn't mind trying to get a group together for a weekday at some point early in the season if possible. Had this lift on for a year and have yet to take it off road. I'm a noob as far as trail riding in a Jeep, but not new to the outdoors.

Let’s do it. I should be good all of April so whatever the group chooses.

My vote would be for a Friday, Weekend tend to be very crowded
