Help with the SwayLOC

Mine rub the paint off the driver side with 3 washers under the steering stops. 4 washers and it doesn't rub my sway lock. The passenger side it doesn't rub the paint off because it rubs on the switch plate.

I am running 35x12.50 on stock ravines with 2inch wheels spacers or a total of 3.5" backspacing.

This is mine. 35x12.5 with 3.75" BS, no steering stop extension. It rubbed at the first hole before I pushed the front axle forward. Now it rubs at the movable plate.

JJ - since I believe you ran the anti rock as well, does the swayloc stick out farther from the passenger side frame than the antirock? I would think it does, but I don’t know for sure.

Given the OP is rubbing the antirock already, the Swayloc could be worse given his current setup - even without the air cylinder.

35x12.5 with 4" BS, this is where mine rubs.

I have mine pointed as up as it will go without running into anything at full stuff, specifically to minimize this contact.

The SwayLoc absolutely sticks out more on the passenger side and will cause more interference…

The SL is a bit thicker than the AR is. I'll get measurements later today

My wheels with 3.75” backspacing and 33x12.50” tires just kisses the manual SwayLoc’s sliding mechanism from what I consider normal street driving. Haven’t had the SwayLoc off-road as of yet but I’m not overly worried about it…

Yea but I am running 35x12.50 so I think it may rub a bit more. Also the Swayloc looks to be thicker since it looks to have about three layers of flat steel bars. So thinking I might be rubbing even more due that fact

You had me wondering where my sway bar link went to until I realized that's an old picture.

You are absolutely correct. You’d need to push the wheel/tire away a bit to clear better most likely…

Or let the tire rub and not worry about it.

He can definitely try it out and see what happens…

I was just going by the picture of his Antirock. Seems like he gets into it pretty heavily. With the double bars on the passenger side pushing the SwayLoc out even more I figure he will probably eat into a SwayLoc even more…
