Headed south on Highway 17 in Fleming Island FL I saw a Rivian truck. Heavy traffic so could never get close. He was tearing it up at every stoplight. I did not know you could get these yet.
they said they're rated at ~245 mi range in 'off road' mode, which was pretty impressive
Unibody, 20" tires needed for the regen brakes, 7000 lb unloaded weight, some armor issues, and computer issues (limp mode stuff common to all new cars), I believe a 4.5 ft bed, but it seems to work okay.
Maybe I can talk the wife into getting putting down 70-
100k for one when she needs a new vehicle.

Last February or March, @Farmergreg and I ran across a group of 4; they pulled in to air up just as we finished and were getting ready to hit the highway after a day on the trail. We thought they must have been a group from the manufacturer, but they were four buddies who'd all bought and taken delivery of them around the same time.
We chatted with them for a bit. Pretty cool tech - adjustable suspension from inside the cab, onboard air that you set to your desired psi and walk away, etc. I think they said they're rated at ~245 mi range in 'off road' mode, which was pretty impressive, I thought. Other than the front, which I think looks goofy, I thought they were pretty sharp looking.
