What did you do to your TJ today?

Tell me about those sliders/steps.

I have you covered if you want take off parts.

Well I wish I knew more to tell you- the tubular set up all around it was something that I really liked about the jeep- They are welded to the frame- @Hog told me that some of it looked like some American made Smitty built before they went overseas-

I think maybe one time I’ve seen a front bumper like mine but for the most part I can’t seem to find any of these tube parts anywhere- I kept trying to put my finger on what I liked about them and a lot of it is the small diameter and how close they hug to the jeep.

I’m pretty confident this thing was built within a year or two ago when it was sold new (2003) and basically everything on it was obsolete.

The TJ only had 20,500 miles when I got it and I had to go through it front to back.

Mine were bolt on plus the Rubi Bro sliders.

I'm so very sorry to hear that. I didn't realize things went downhill that fast. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Always remember the good times. I took care of my mom 24/7 with that for 2 years and it destroyed me.

Thanks Boog. It sucks the life out of you. It is a tired that sleep doesn’t fix.

Of all things @John Cooper drove all the way from the corner of the state to come. I was really touched and then I started wondering if he stuck a duck in the casket.

I doubt it is a big job, just a heavy one. New hard top is a Bulldawg Highlander. I don't know what the top weighs, but the shipping weight was (pallet, box, roof platform) was 395lbs... Now the platform weighs 60lbs, the pallet is easily 100lbs (it is somewhat larger than 2 standard pallets) - so 200ish seems about right for the top (and is roughly what various posts have hinted at - 60lbs more than a OEM top). Will most likely pull the platform before I try to lift the whole thing at one time.

Once upon a time, my family had a truck cap. With a frame to hold it, I could just barely install or remove it by myself. I don't want to guess how many dozens of times I did that.

This is not bragging or anything I’m just throwing out there how much that I enjoy these-

I am out basically every night of the summer especially right now through end of September is one of my favorite times of the year-

I can’t get enough of it.

Some guys get off work and get on their Harley and some guys go get a six pack and whatever cranks there tractor-

This does it for me.

The sound track tonight is Bryan Adams’ Ultimate CD, a greatest hits compilation and some new stuff.

I have really enjoyed the stereo that @sab sent to me- I don’t know that if I hear it mentioned on here much but these late model sound systems sound pretty good to me-

I just ate with the family and came by my shop that is behind this office to leave a check for my painter, So that he won’t have to wait until after my dad’s funeral tomorrow to get paid.

We never, ever make anybody chase their money in my company, As long as we don’t have to chase them to get the work done.

This TJ has Marks’ @Wranglerfix PCM in it- my white one has 4:56 gears, this one 4:10. This TJ will runoff and leave the white one up to 50, both about the same beyond that. Mark told me it would run better than stock- It is the best running automatic TJ that I have I had to date thanks to Mark.

I’m sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation with both of my parents.

All the proceeds go to Hand Up ministry. A friend on mine is on the board of directors for them.

Good food last year and hoping for a bigger turnout this year!!!!

Any more info on the kid’s activities, mine are 4, 7, and 11 and would want to bring them.
