GenRight or UCF engine skid plate?

Yea I have the Savvy engine skid mounted to my factory TC skid, I too have been waiting months for them to get the TC skids back in stock w/o any updates so I may have to move on to another Mfg.

The waiting is real. I have the mounts painted for the engine skid but not installed yet. Heat and a non-A/C garage man.

And the cake is a lie.

I’m in maricopa county. In a garage facing SE so I feel your pain. it gets to about 95 degrees by 10:00 or 11:00 INSIDE the garage. Really hard to make progress on projects, because I like my neighbors and won’t start grinding before 8:00 am. Looking forward to late October.

The UCF instructions kinda suck but once you figure out how it all goes together it works and I have no complaints. Mine is paired with a UCF trans skid as well. I'd like a separate cross member like savvy's but by the time I really need that, savvy will probably have discontinued all TJ support if they haven't already, which means I'll end up doing it myself.

FWIW, I ordered my transfer case skid a couple of years ago and followed up with an email many months later because I was beginning to wonder what happened with the order. The part showed up a few days later without any other form of communication (I'll take it!).

Savvy makes production orders as they seem fit, and my complete guess is that some replenishment orders aren't made until they see sufficient demand (backorder purchases). Again, I have no idea if that's true or if it's largely luck that they supply the part you need when you need it. But, my engine skid and shifter cable were also ordered on backorder and showed up right on schedule (a few months later).

If you can wait, the parts are absolutely worth it. But, I don't blame anyone who chooses not to play by those rules.

It would be nice if they updated the website or posted a date they expect them to be back in stock

Looking hard at putting an A/C unit on my garage out here in Laveen. My garage door faces due East. Love that morning sun during the summer.

Yes it would be.

Unfortunately, your thought is the near-equivalent to me saying it would be nice if the hottest woman on earth washed my Jeep everyday and gave me a blow job just because she thought I’d like it.

(Not fucking happening)
