Has anyone had this issue? I've tried searching it, but can't seem to find anything. When I go into reverse it will reverse just fine, but if I come to a complete stop and try to reverse again it's like it doesn't want to move. I have to gun it to get it to go again. It seems that if you let the engine warm up it doesn't have this issue, but I wouldn't really call that a fix. This has only happened a couple times so far. Thank you to anyone that can help!

Get the engine really warm and check the fluid per manual procedure-
Also if you have not dropped the pan and changed the filter in a long time it may be time to do it
You’ll need to top the fluid off when you do that

What Transmission do you have? I have the 32rh and it will have similar symptoms if it is low on fluid.
Thank you for replying. I got the oil changed the day before this happened the first time. We checked the oil and the transmission fluid after it happened the first time and they are both still good. And I'm not sure what transmission is in it. When I bought it, the dealer told me that the previous owner had a new transmission put in it 3 years prior, but he had no paperwork to prove that.
My 2002 does the same thing from a cold start backing up. Shifts fine and once warmed up no issues.
Do you know how long it's been doing that? I'm trying to figure out if this is something serious that needs to be fixed, or if it will be all right just left alone as long as I let it warm up before taking off.
