2006 Rubicon with 120k

What are they asking? I don’t think I’d take less than 15k for mine, and that’s with 152,000 on it. I’ve rebuilt or replaced nearly everything though, and wouldn’t hesitate to hop in and drive it across the country.

Man, that looks great. Good for you. I can only speak for where I am in Ohio, but $13,800 is a great price for a Rubi that is rust free. Happy trails

Rubicon Resurrection has some parts like pumps. I just bought a 2006 TJR after my Jeep mechanic checked it out. He thought he could fix the no light on the lock axle. Got home, fuse 26 was blown. Now both axles lock up and light up. My TJR is an auto with 4.0L and 100K miles.
Much nicer looking than mine, and I need to buy a winch. Congrads.

Alright gents, since this is about TJ rubicons and the purchase of said TJ, I’m in the market for the same for my son. I’ve been browsing the the wife’s FB for one and came across these two:

The FB one is a 2004 TJR 5spd with 178k for $10.5k, frame looks clean from what he posted and plan to head down there on Sunday/Monday to have a look at it.
Th 2nd one is a 2005 TJR auto, looks completely stock with no frame pics at a dealer with 187k for $12.9k. They are in about the same location so will look at both all at once.
What do you you all think about them and what do you think they’ll take out the door $$?

First one - I would ask him if there is any body damage under the plastic corners and big rock rails on it.
Second one - seems like buying a 18 year old vehicle with 187,000 miles from a dealership is almost guaranteed to have some shady stuff done to it. How else would one end up at an auto auction and then at a dealership that sells old/high mileage cars?
Edited to add: the Silver one has a non matching spare wheel/rim. I think it is from an 06 model year. The wipers are parked in an odd position too. I see weather strip hanging off the right side rear of the hard top and the hardtop is sticking out past the tub on the side. Maybe they just weren't careful when they bolted it down.
