Replaced Headlights with Truck-Lite Knockoffs

Mine are adjusted to the specs in the FSM. No issues being flashed in the 2 1/2 years I’ve been running them this way and have no complaints about them in general. Didn’t have any problems aiming them.

People aren't flashing me.
Sorry to hear that. ;)

How far down have you guys typically had to adjust your knockoffs?
Just wondering if this looks like a pretty average vertical adjustment or if it’s abnormally far down compared to others.

I have the knock off of the knock off's and mine have to be angle all the way down.
I also purchased new brackets as my olds one had stripped and rusted screws.

It seems the good knocks off have the WHDZ branding on the back.

Skimming through the thread. Pulling the plug today. WHDZ or Uni-shine? Taking advantage of Amazon big deal day

I’ve been running the WHDZ’s since 2019. I replaced one that failed on an overland trip in 2021. My fault, not the light’s. Other than they don’t do the greatest when you have wet snow in the 30°-34° range like any unheated LED, I’ve got no real complaints and will probably replace with the same if still available.

Just wanted to chime in here too on these aftermarket lights. I'm not sure if the're made by the same company but these ones come with a Philips chip and I've compared them to the Truck-lites and are very close.

I've had mine now for the past 5 years and been working perfectly since. No one has ever high-beamed me either. I attached some pics for reference at approx 100ft.

I had these on my TJ for a long time. And just got a set for my JKU for xmas. I have so many other things to buy for my Jeep. I don't see enough of an advantage to spend $300+ on headlights.

These work at least 90% as well as real ones. At 20% of the price. There seems to be no difference in reliability. And they are worlds better than stock.

There may be a small difference in the shape of the cast light. The edge is perhaps a bit more ragged. But I to have never been flashed. But to see a difference in the shape of the cast light is nit picking imho. It has never limited my use of these lights in any way. And I don't notice the difference at all. They light up just as much of the road as any other led headlight.

These lights also look a whole helluva lot better than the cheap halos from the front as well. And I think are a much better design.

I have so many other things to buy. That are so much more important. I couldn't even list it all.

Strange the Philips version is only on Amazon Canada. Amazon.com in US only has the regular version.

.....They light up just as much of the road as any other led headlight.
Way more IMHO.. the underside of overhanging trees directly overhead.

It annoyed the crap out of me. The was so much un-needed spill-off of light.
If it were on the ground out front, I might of kept them but I found them distracting to drive with when the top was down. Kept for about two months and then sold them
