Hey everyone! Ever since I was 5 years of age, I've wanted a Jeep (either a TJ or a YJ as I was born in 95). I fell in love with them, unsurprisingly, from seeing them in Jurassic Park and the Lara Croft series. I currently drive a 2008 Lincoln Navigator and love it like it were a family member (her name is Calypso but her street name is the Black Pearl. Anyway, ever since i was 11, I have always been eyeing my Neighbors TJ from afar, wishing he would sell it to me. We'll, as luck would have it, when my father came up to Jacksonville to visit me from Boca Raton in my mom's Kia Soul, he was sandwiched and the car was totaled. Since then, we have been searching for a solid deal on a car and one day, we came up with the idea of asking my neighbor if he would sell the car. Turns out he had three people ask him if it was for sale this week. Now its a soft top, manual trans with the 4-pot instead of the 4.0 (thatll be swapped down the road). 134k, one owner, all og, including the clutch which works fine but we're swapping it. Also came with two sets of tires and rims, the og dealer manuals/bags and a spare put in the rear. Oil pressure is low since somewhere down the line, someone put the wrong oil in it. Also the a/c needs a tune-up. He even put wheel spacers on it. Total cost????? $1750!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do y'all think I did? Also externally I want to do some very light, period correct mods and I'll leave the interior alone, save for buying a stick radio to go where the don't aftermarket one is. Deivetrain will eventually be overhauled and I want to do a tan line-x treatment. Any feedback would be helpful. I hope you all enjoy your week. Take care!!!

I think we just pulled a Pirate 4X4 on poor @John J Gannon and scared him off.
It appears John might eventually return for any 'feedback'...

He did want a Jeep since he was 5, and just now got one...it may be a while before we hear back. Doesn't seem to make any rash moves...

Maybe he has a job and has to work and his work won't let him get on the computer and screw off on a Jeep forum on company time......just saying.
