During a routine inspection, I noticed my tranny pan was leaking in the rear. It had only been 2 months since the last inspection, and it was dry. I went to check the pan bolts, everyone of them was loose. No where close to torque spec. Went to tighten them, expecting it to leak more, and it did. I found a sweet spot to stop it for now. I had to add 1-1/2 quarts of atf+4 fluid to get it back full. I have a new deep pan coming, as well as other maintenance items. When taking off the main skid plate, do I need to support the transmission or not? I won't be driving it obviously, but want to make sure everything is right.
