No more gas Wranglers to certain states

My state is one of the states that will only be able to get 4xe wrangler in the future.

The price jump from a ICE only wrangler to 4xe is huge. Granted we have NH close by to purchase from but that will raise other issues.

There is a town I pass thru on my way to work that has banned gas stations. Though if you read into the article, its the construction of any new gas stations. Whatever gas stations are currently in town are not effected. I assume this is similar in that any new wrangler will have to be 4xe.

I’m all for electric vehicles. I see huge benefits to it. But it’s being pushed way too quickly and we are not ready for it. I believe that with time, electric vehicles will start to become more reasonable and more practical and they will slowly phase their way into our society naturally. Thats the right way and most efficient way for it to happen. That’s how capitalism in the US works.

The US didn’t start to ban horses when cars were invented, cars became what we use because they became more practical and desirable (and cheaper) with time. If electric vehicles are forced upon people, there’s something that we don’t like about them whether that be cost, efficiency, etc. It’ll therefore harm us in some way if they are forced, otherwise we’d already be buying them… At least that’s how I see it

Same. I'm minimum 4 miles to the nearest business of any kind, and that's a couple of restaurants and convenience stores. 10 or so from anything that would make sense for public transport and 12 from anything even remotely pedestrian friendly.

Our vehicles = Freedom. To go when and where we please. Public Transportation is on the Governments timeline. You also pay twice if you use it.

Assume they are not nice people and don't care. Because they don't.

They would rather the small towns and rural areas dry up as the kids move to the cities. Kids will, since they can't go anywhere or do anything.

Another part of their plan is large areas of the country reverting back to what they were like before people expanded.

It's weird, but they wrote it all out and are trying to implement the plan.

Horses make about 30 lbs. of poop and 2 gallons of urine a day. I can't remember the actual year, but in the late 1880's, NYC had over 150,000 horses at its peak. That's 300,000 gallons of horse piss per day - or enough to fill over 160 Olympic Sized swimming pools per year - spread all over the city.

Electrification of cities began decades before the automobile, and even then, many original carriage makers converted to electric vehicles first. What killed the original push for auto-electrification??? The same thing that is preventing widespread adoption now - a lack of infrastructure...
