Locker ideas on my TJ

Don’t attempt gears or lockers unless you’ve done it before, or really know what you’re doing. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but there seems to be an art to it, and even with as mechanically inclined as I am, that and transmission rebuilds are one thing I’ll leave to the experts.

If my Rubicon lockers ever go bad, I’ll replace them with Eaton E-lockers.

Hey Chris, thanks for the advice, I've had two quotes from two different 4wd shops
$2100 installed
$2020 installed
I could save myself $1000 bucks if I do it on my own. Maybe I can find a mechanic that moonlights a little, or trade some hvac work

Thanks

Is that including the lockers as well?

Not to revive an old thread.
I’m currently in the same boat. I’m looking for a front locker for my HP30 build that’s going in my daily driver TJ. The quietness of the non slip is appealing. But do either the non slip or the lunch box locker have good high way and daily driven behavior?

You won't notice them in 2wd other than a light click while turning with some of them. I ran No Slips years ago and an Aussie now, both work very well. "Lunchbox" is a generic term for lockers that install into open carriers.
