What did you do to your TJ today?

I didn't like the idea of my opener being visible and accessible with the top and doors off. Years ago on my last TJ, I wired up a small, discreetly placed push-button switch and mounted the opener on the inside of the switch panel.

I didn't replicate the mod on my current TJ, I use my phone for garage opening now. (sorry Zorba)

That shit is 100% GARBAGE; besides, it leaves a sticky mess on everything that is fails to adhere to.
Same w/ double-faced tape.
Even the VHB from 3M isn't going to hold up if it is exposed to UV and/or heat.

I am quick to use a neobendium magnet and a washer applied with RTV silicone

I use my phone as well. I don't feel comfortable with a garage door opener just hanging out in my TJ either.

I used to work with a guy- Ralph Hard, real name. He sometimes had insomnia and he would get up at 3 a.m. and drive around subdivisions and see what garage door his opener would open. Nothing like sharing the gift of insomnia with other people.

Sort of reminds me about the alcoholic I used to live next to and his motto- “ya gotta do sumthin’”

This OMIX replacement bow straps are trash and now I need to replace my replacements so I picked up 20ft of 3in webbing from strapworks for half the price and I’m going to make my own.

Full write up when you're done, please. I have one that flaps in the wind now, and one that's tearing.

Mine are in rough shape too. Though the zip ties bought me another year or two. I'll be interested to see your results.

I got a shop to install the new wheels, tires, brakes, gears, manual hub kit and diff covers. Really appreciate MrBlaine's work squeezing the big brake kit inside the 15" wheels. I got the brakes broken in, still working on getting the miles on the gears. It's so much better with 35s and 5.38s vs the 33s and 4.10s.

I like Strapworks. I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from them.

Genright Stealth LEDs. They come with an angled aluminum bracket that bolts up with the hood catch. PM me how to wire them in if needed. They don’t blink, marker only.

These are zip tied on, they will mount more outbound when permanent.

I picked up a set of the GenRight LEDs with the fenders that includes that marker light. I went with the Metal Cloak because of their due-use marker/turn signal for the front. I hadn't seen them illuminated so thank you for that pic. They really are stealth un-lit but visible when lit.

I like having something as a turn signal for folks to my side on the highway. I may go with them as a turn signal option to the side of the Jeep with the front already serving as a marker.

The LED marker lights that Blaine sells would be a good option.
