Need advice on 2006 Rubicon purchase

you are rushing this. Take 96 days or 96 weeks instead. You'll be better off. I'll take no rust over low miles any day.
I agree. Whenever I was looking for another Jeep, I was lucky to find a really nice one (condition and price) once a year. That's why I jumped on my Rubicon for $9,500, then bought it back 2 years after I had to sell it.
You're going to be disappointed when you see the frame....looks crusty from the outside, so that means rot on the inside.
This is the area that concerns me.it means the frame is rotting here.those bolts will be very hard to get out so the drivetrain can be serviced. Sooner or later it rots so bad the whole thing falls out on the highway!
I agree, took me almost a year to find my new Rubi ! I was just about to give up when I found it. don't get in a hurry

worth looking at but that frame is freshly painted. inspect the inside and get a carfax to see if it's spent it's whole life in TX ...
I want thank you all - I am taking all your advice and passing on this one ……. This starting smell smelly…… I am not in a rush - as this will be 5th vehicle for us and be towed behind our Motorhome when what to hit the trails and camp.
