Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Was more of a statement of where we are in this country. Eighty years ago we could win a World War and today we can't even keep stamps in stock. 😒

Last war we won. And we’re telling Israel how to wage war? Yeah, if you want to lose. To keep this Jeep related. I think they just need some of those WWII Willy’s Jeeps. That’s how we won the war. 😂

How about some MB's at Camp Hale Colorado ? 10th Mountain Division training in snow operations.

I love Savvy. They make unique quality products and don't take orders on items not in stock. That's exactly how I roll. And when they show stock, I order, and its here is a couple days.

If my my customers treated me online like most of you people, I would sure AF make whatever you wanted was not my priority. Ever.

But hey, go get free stickers with the company name you hate.

I wouldn't say anyone who has posted hates Savvy.

Maybe disappointed, but not hate.

I think some folks get caught up in the moment, and just post anything.

I called the other day, Gerald answered the phone and my questions.

Do you have an “Email me when available” link that never emails, even when items are available?

I'm not going out to buy stamps to mail decals when I had already ordered 60 of them that were overdue by last week. They finally arrived Saturday.

I am glad they finally arrived without being lost. That would have been ironic.

The stamps shipped the next day, they just took way too long to finally arrive from Missouri. 9 days I think.

Next time .. publix! They really do carry stamps, I was not joking if you thought I was. It is easy to misinterpret tone over text :)

Love and hate are two sides of the same coin :) You can only hate what you once loved. If there was no love (only "meh"), then there is no hate.

Similar to the saying "You can’t truly call yourself “peaceful” unless you’re capable of great violence. Peace is a choice as is violence. If you’re not capable of violence, then you’re not peaceful, you’re simply harmless”

I agree. People get caught up and just do their thing.

All the shit posting towards a vendor that makes great stuff and promptly delivers when parts are actually in stock is what bothers.

I don't love Savvy but I don't hate them either (possibly because I got all the now-unobtainium parts I needed pre-Chinese Lung AIDS). Savvy just happened to be the hobby business that had mrblaine's designs manufactured and available for purchase.

There are volumes to get in to with your love/hate thing but...

Shit posting is a choice as is not. If someone once provided something that you truly loved, and chose to no longer provide, how are they causing harm.

Where it gets is complicated is .. who decides what is "shit posting" and what isn't? :)

The super cool thing about proven out designs is that you can take that thing and run with it with another manufacturer.

The fact that no one is says something about the demand.

TJ owners are, for the most part, cheap bastards or uninterested in high quality parts. It's no surprise to me that Savvy Designz has dropped the TJ line like a bad habit.
