I am in the process of upgrading my sound system.
I went ahead and ordered this head unit:

I want to replace the factory amp with something that will give me better sound output. However, I'm trying to figure this out since I'm not an audio expert.
Should I get a 5 channel amplifier and use it to power the 4 speakers, plus the subwoofer?
Or do I just let the head unit power the 4 speakers, and get a 1-channel amplifier to power the sub?
I'm just trying to figure out what is going to give me the best sound quality.
