Does anyone happen to have a source for the seat fabric on my 97 TJ? Im not too concerned about finding a good match for the vinyl, but i would love a few yards of the multicolor insert.

My plan is to recover a PRP daily driver to match. I found one reference to Miami Corporation but just seeing if anyone had any other ideas (or even a few yards laying around)

Thanks!

You *like* that color? Huh, ya see something new every day 😆 J/K

I had my Sahara driver's seat redone and the automotive upholstery shop guy said he had to spend a couple of days calling around to find the right fabric. He said there's a computer system but it doesn't have a lot of stuff, especially older fabrics. I suggest calling a shop and asking them to look for you. Maybe the same shop you are going to go to to have the PRP seats covered? I like the idea of keeping it stock looking 👍

How did this work work out for ya? I want to do the same with a PRP seat upgrade. I like the OEM fabric in my 2005 LJ with the khaki interior.

I am not sure if the color is an exact match, but it looks very close to me 95 YJ Rio Grande edition. I have some of the vinyl fabric, I had the side of the seats redone a few years ago and I had to buy more than I needed and the auto shop told me it was the last of its kind. Let me know if your interested.

The OE seat fabrics can be very hard to find. Check with upholstery shops they have some or have a few sources to check. We don’t have any of that cloth but do have some of the Sahara green. Miami corporation has a lot of oe fabric and show what they have in stock on there website. Another place to check is SMS auto fabrics the specialize in NOS fabrics terrible costumer service and expensive but if they have what you need.

It probably is the same color. Send me a PM with how much you have and what youd want for it, please.

Let me know what they say. I already have mine but maybe I can find a way to sell them and switch, especially if they do a batch with that fabric cheaper.

The pvl tan is really close to the factory vinyl leather color on my 97 jsyk.

You have to provide fabric to them for a custom build…they wont be doing a batch. Im just gonna order fabric then the seats.

@SSTJ i did! I bought enough material for one seat, but I have not had anything recovered yet - im waiting to verify if i do indeed prefer my PRP seat. It is $$$ though.

INTERESTING, I been wanting to buy some PRP seats and use the stock material to look a little less aftermarket. I have that khaki interior that’s hard to match. THENNN I saw the serape fabric, looks like a Mexican blanket and seems fun.
