Yeah I watched your video where it said it went in only one way now lol…

I did a couple of test runs and I’m having trouble getting the rear drum into the roller and the cam area..

Also the the non threaded hole for the cam… basing it off the transmission as a clock… does the non threaded hole go at the 5 o clock position?

That sounds right, when viewing from the inside of the case.

Thank you… I put the drum in my freezer to see if that’ll help me get it set inside the roller couch easier

Will it go in w/o the roller clutch? It has to slip over the support hub, inside the roller clutch, and then outside the edge of the overrun cam. THAT shouldn’t be snug, shouldn’t even make contact. The drum rides on the output support, which is interesting because it’s not a bushing or a bearing there. The race for the overrun clutch comes off the drum, you can test fit it with the overrun clutch by itself.

Each part will install independently but not all together… I may not have a good touch for it…

This issue arose after I took it apart and put it back together… with the roller clutch being jammed into the ring I’d think that was the issue I was experiencing after my install…

After doing some research my original original issue probably could have been solved with a fluid flush and replacing the torque converter solenoid…

Well that’s water under the bridge now.

You could always remove all the parts from the case and test fit them on the bench. Is the band fighting you?

True. Nothing is fighting me except the roller clutch and that first drum…

I’ve had some trouble with it before, but nothing I haven’t been able to work out in about 45 seconds, so it seems like something different is going on.

Can you take a pic of the overrun clutch in place?
