In spite of how most want to point fingers or claim the moral high ground there are literally no "good guys" in that particular history.

Yep, this book covers that aspect pretty well, it was written in the late 1950's before native american studies became "fashionable." It's a must read for those interested in native American history.
Don't know much about Native Americans but did think Killing Crazy Horse by Bill O'Reilly was a good read.

After watching the Amazon Reacher shows I've started reading the books by Lee Childs I'm 2 in and find it entertaining. My dad is retired Army LTC so there is that interest as well as the investigation angle since Reacher is an MP and then he is also a badass

Old Enemies, book 2 of The Day America Died series by AJ Newman.
Reader on the Newman book is TERRIBLE and the book is choppy and amateurish, but I'm a sucker for post apocalyptic, grid down fiction

I love to read. Currently reading Coming of age in the Milky Way by Timothy Ferris, Whirlwind by James Clavell and Neuromancer/ Count Zero/ Mona Lisa Overdrive by William Gibson. Just wrapped up Ignition! by John D. Clark and The Bermuda Triangle by Charles Berlitz.
James Clavell... Many years ago, while still in school (70's), read Shogun (my favorite book of all), King Rat and Tai-Pan. Never did get to Whirlwind... any good?

Supposed to be more historically accurate than Shogun - or so I've been told by the author! He said that Shogun was a mish-mash of eras. *shrug*
So I finally took the time to finish Confronting The Presidents. I tried to like the book but first problem is there are to many Presidents to cover in one book.
The last chapter was awful, when both authors wrote essays on Trump then Biden. O'Reilly was fair on both Presidents unlike his libtard co-author Dugard who actually thanked Biden in his essay.
I think I'll stick to books that cover one President, rather than ones that try to cover them all.

I finished N4 Down and it was so good I couldn't put it down. Next I watched the movie with Sean Connery which contained some of the actual footage although not a lot
Yes The Red Tent on Amazon Prime for $1.99. The movie took some liberties with the facts, and they didn't come close to showing how much those guys really suffered, nor did they show the politics involved that delayed their rescue for weeks. It was the Russians who finally rescued them after a Russian Ham picked up their faint SOS that the Brits and everyone else were too busy with their own agendas to notice the SOS calls.
Well thanks... spilled the beans on a ending part after I just ordered the N-4 hard cover book from Amazon. Its OK though... finished Stalingrad and I knew how that ended.

Who me? If so no worries, that was only one rescue. There were numerous more due to the sheer number of people who flocked to King's Bay hoping to be the ones to find the crew and had to be rescued instead, as well as the crew members who tried to walk out.
