TSB # 21-003-04: Leaking NV241 transfer case on TJ Rubicon models

Here it is. It was from JB Conversions, but not listed on their web site. They have a couple left on their ebay store. They appear to be made in-house as there is no NVG stamping on the outside, and it has a much more raw finish. It also comes with a new seal already pressed in and with suspended lube. Interestingly, they've also made a custom 3-stage drainage path which is larger and more rounded than that of the one on the OEM TJ 2006 and 2007+ JK versions.

I looked at these when I talked to them and am trying to figure out if it's worth the 150 bucks. Have any of you that have gone thd file like @Chris posted had any other issues? If 10 minutes with a rat tail is fine I'll save the 150.

I filed mine three years ago (edit: 5.5!). No issues and no reason the replace that part, unless there is something else wrong with it. If you do decide to replace it, I’ll take the old part.
