What did you do to your TJ today?

What company makes the uppers?
I want to replace the Smittybilt uppers I have. Was holding out for a set of Bestop but they are spendy.

I bought Bestop half door uppers but just the fabric, not the frame. My frames were different but the fabric fit fine.
Great to be able to zip the windows down but it's cold in Ohio

Yeah, it pulled up about ⅝ of the way up and was tight, vehicle wouldn't move. Tried rocking it while it was pulled to knock it loose and the slow reverse and pull. After replacing the cables the tension is looser than before, still need to adjust the nut to make it tighter but that alarm still won't go away

I would be looking at the switch, might just need a little lube to get it working or unplug it…that chime just goes straight through my skull as one of the most irritating things about my Jeep. I reached up behind the dash with some duct tape just to tone that thing down…Pun intended

Cleaned it after I got home and put the Rusty's radiator skid plate on.

Technically this was a couple of days ago...

Mac,

I use elevator bolts, bog washer and a nut. Stick bolt through the hard top bolt hole from the bottom leaving an inch of more sticking up. Do this for the front and rear holes.

Take nylon webbing, melt a hole towards the end, lift corner of top and slip it over the hole, flop it over the top pulling somewhat tight, mark, cut and melt another hole for the other side. Repeat for the back.

Take the straps off. Find the center and glue, stitch, whatever you can dream up in order to get a D ring in the center of the two straps.

Make a strap that connects to the two D rings and start hoisting, adjusting the hoisting point until you find where it lifts level. Then attach another D ring.

This will lift the top off level and all you need to do is lift it 3 inches and drive away. Sits perfectly fine until you return and drive under it to reattach.

Edit. I made this for mine and it works great except...I need to make a strap that goes around the back of the top and attaches to the rear strap to keep the window from going up.

Where is this switch located that you speak of? Because that tone is making me want to drive off a cliff

Started cleaning up this ole HP30,Dubbing it the "DurteeThirtee" cause dayuum look at all that dirt😅
Bent Lp30 (i bent the C's housing looks straight) will come out and the HP30 will go in 😁. Once I make up my mind I'll either clean up the stock brackets or just do new spring&control arm brackets from Barnes and call it a day.....oh and C gussets so I won't bend my Cs so easily....

Hope you are teaching him how to clean and cook that Bass!!!!!!

The first thing I wanted him to learned was how to handle the fish as little as possible

And where to handle it and not too- I cannot stand to see someone pick up the fish by the gills if they plan to release it- That is tantamount to someone picking us up by the lungs

And I had a dinner to go to and no idea what would happen to the fish if he took it home so I got him to release it

Catch and release is going to be more important to the future of fishing than ever before because of the refinement of a forward facing sonar.

Don’t get me wrong- I’m going to catch and eat some fish but I’m going to do it deliberately.

That fish still has a lot of growth left and really was a little bit big for the table anyway as far as a bass goes

Can't argue with any of that,

I was just raised to eat what we caught or killed.

One reason I don't kill Yotes, Skunks, possums or Dillers....

We weren't dirt poor but relied on a lot of out meat being caught or killed.

I love fresh fish when I have time to clean it-

I could just see this thing going home in a bucket and fed to the cats.
