Non highline fenders advantages?

See pictures already posted. Still had up travel but the fenders were the limiting factor.

I'm done arguing. Y'all have expressed your hate for a product you've never used. You're no better than those already ran off the forum.

Quit arguing and prove me wrong.

I will help. Here is a picture.

@mjonesjr84 how did you measure that you had 4” lift with the 33’s? Or was that what the kit advertised? How much uptravel do you have with 5” lift and 37’s?

Do you understand that you are now contradicting yourself by saying you still had up travel?

You've been claiming all this time that the fenders limited your up travel (see below).

I haven't said anything about MC fenders.

I've been stating that your fender flares (and fenders) weren't limiting your travel. You fought me on this until your last post.

The best part is that you continued to talk shit after completely changing up the facts that your hill was built upon. That's wild.

The irony is metalcloak fenders are on my list of parts that I’m strongly considering so I don’t even hate on them, in fact I effectively said they were a better option than the genright fenders.

The value in metalcloak are the removable flares imo, the extra inch of uptravel is just a bonus in my book.

I did it first, 35's all stock suspension. no rubbing on the rear but determined I would have needed about 1/2" bumpstop when cycling axles without springs to keep the tire from touching the fender when fully articulated, never added it.

Relevant trick question. Stock shocks?

And how does that affect the articulation compared to the otherwise same Jeep with a spring lift?

No idea. I had no intention of wheeling like that. I was waiting for my lift.

My original intention was to take a sawzall to everything in the way so it seemed like a better idea at the time.

This is an exercise in understanding how things work even when we might not have direct experience with it.
