Installed a 6x fuse/relay box in about the only available semi-reasonable location. I should have installed something like a 10x when I first got the Jeep, but here I am. If it weren't for a "BCH", nothing would fit on these Jeeps!

In other news, I lost a socket the other day and didn't even know it. Now I do - I'll leave it to you guys to figure out what size it was...![]()

Did my rear shocks of course the previous mechanic did some hackery. So I had to sit there with a carbide bit grinding down a bolt head. But hey I got a fresh set of Rancho Rs5000's now.View attachment 640230
Only this that Annoys me is one boot came black instead of red but you'll barely see them anyway.View attachment 640229View attachment 640231
The boots usually do more bad than good. They end up trapping in mud and moisture.
Most attend to just not run them at all. The shock seal will keep out the badness. But if you like them that's your call.
Putting more miles on my Freshly Ax15 swapped Lj

Six months after moving to beautiful Georgia from hot and marvelous Texas, I finally got around to actually changing tyhe plugs in my 2006 LJR. Was getting P0303 on and off for about 3 weeks and bought the plugs about 4 months ago. Cancer surgery and radiation put Jeep work on hold. I would not wish that on anyone!
Almost healed, temperature in the 70's and ready to work — could not find the plugs. Bought new plugs, Champion 7304. Had to set the gap on every one. Most were set around .050; changed to .035. Getting the coil pack off was the hardest part of the whole project. My '78 CJ had one vacuum line and 2 heater hoses. This thing has got more pipes, hoses, and wires than I could count. And, that connector on the end! What rocket scientist came up with that?
Eventually got old plugs out - they were the originals and had rusted pretty well to the block. A little penetrating oil took care of that and out they came. Every one of them was at least .050". Number three was almost .070". I don't know how it even sparked. Well, I guess it didn't sometimes, hence the error codes.
Got it all back together and she runs like new. No misses, smooth idle, and no codes. Garage wanted $150 to do this. Only took me four hours.
BTW, getting old sucks (75). I finally have all the tools, but I don't have the energy to use them. I suspect the radiation may have had something to do with that.
Anyway, got 'er done and runs great. Thanks, Everybody!
Heading towards Provo, north on i15 we passed a small town called Fillmore…
Grabbed an Arbys turkey sandwich and spotted the Jeep Guy Museum.
It was closed as it’s only open on Saturdaysbut there was some cool stuff sitting outside.View attachment 640240View attachment 640241View attachment 640242View attachment 640243View attachment 640244View attachment 640245View attachment 640246
