And I'm at 262K, Stopped because well....My jeep is on jackstands doing some cool suspension work and a pre runner axle in the back 
All of my previous 4.0L powered Jeeps rusted out long before the engine showed any signs of failing. My TJ is at 167k. Like any other vehicle, maintenance will go a long way. I've also seen 4.0Ls that were severely neglected with an inch of sludge under the valve cover, overheated, and burned oil since the oil was never changed and they didn't run for very long after.
One guy on here had 600k on his 4.0 TJ with nothing but basic maintenance and a transmission rebuild every 200k miles.
I'm about to hit 200k on my 97, daughter has 240k on her 97. Trans rebuild around 200k miles sounds about right based on my experience. My 02 has 110k and it purrs like a kitten.

Chris, since we are on the topic of durability, How long, in your opinion, will a 5 speed NV3550 transmission last? With proper maintenance

There's always exceptions. The NV3550 doesn't have the greatest reputation which probably doesn't help. Once it fails most replace it with the AX-15.
Of course rebuilding a manual is usually a lot less costly and involved than an automatic.
Held one the other day and walked away wanting it! I'll bet that thing has some serious kick.
I wouldn’t buy it.(got a steal on it)it’s ridiculous,you just aim & all hell breaks loose,if you let someone else shoot it ,only load one round..my ruger super Alaskan 44 magnum w/grizzly loads is way better.
Yep, I'd imagine that would scare most people off after one shot! Cool looking revolver though!
