Exhaust hanger not aligning

What do you do for the middle exhaust hanger as it doesn’t reach one you do a body lift and what not because it no longer is close to the hole

if you’re talking about the one at the t case,I heated it up and used a pipe on a floor jack.you will also need a welder to shorten and remake the other mounts,

It’s the one that’s mounted to the body I think near the muffler. And my exhaust isn’t anywhere close and I think it’s because of my body lift.

I believe so! I don’t have issues with any of them except that middle one for some reason. And I just assumed it was because of my lift since that one is mounted to the body and the rest are mounted to the frame.

I can’t get it to go any higher maybe I’m doing something wrong.

There are no OEM exhaust hangers mounted to the tub.

Starting at the exhaust manifold, there is one or two in the form of flange connections. After that, it goes around the front of the oil pan, shoots back to beside the trans and t-case and there is a hanger from the cat to an exhaust mount/"hanger" that is part of the transmission mount. Behind the muffler is one that goes over to the frame and then one beside the gas tank that hangs down off of the frame.

Ok so I have no idea what’s going on in front of the muffler bc I haven’t messed with it but once I connect the muffler and tailpipe the hanger near the gas tank lines up but the one over to the frame isn’t close. Does that make sense?

Hi I went to install the muffler and tailpipe and my hanger isn’t aligning photo attacked below. Anyone have any idea why or how to fix it. Thanks

Help us out: How isn't it aligning? Which way does it have to go? How close does it come?

It looks like you have it pieced together. Have you loosened up all of the joints so it can flex a little?

It just needs to go up about 3 inches. I haven’t loosened anything ahead of the muffler as I haven’t messed with any of that stuff. But the muffler connections aren’t tight on either side

What is it interfering with?

Using the axle as a visuar guide the muffler appears to be rolled quite a bit and hanging low judging from the gap to the heat shield above. Get it flattened out and and get a jack under it for a gentil lift.
