Anyone install hood vents?

You don't have to be a good welder. It's better to be a good grinder.

You have to weld all around and I use an air compressor to cool as I go,had to do a lot on my old roadrunner.but ya a grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain’t!😂but I found a lot of use in the new 1/2 inch mini belt sander.

How about some zoomed out pics?

So why change? The poison spider looks really nice did the powder coat finish fade or was there something you didn't like about it?

Original Powder coating started to fade, dent and chip after a few years, the raptor liner coat lasted a lot longer but started to chip a little a round the edges and rivets.

Thank you I was wondering cause the black crinkle looked bad assed. Almost bought one today cause your picture looked so good. Might check with my powder coat guy and see what's available that won't fade. Powder coat does chip.

The "crinkle" look was the raptor liner. think i sprayed it at 50psi to get that effect but can't remember, that was back in 2018

the standard powder coat it came with looked like this. fitted in 2016.

Actually, that's my Six Pack hood scoop I've been developing for my Hemi when finished, think old school Road Runner or Charger.
They're my linear actuated butterflies for fresh air.
A big hole in my hood's coming soon. lol
